India

India is a south Asian country covering a geographical area of 3287263 square kilo meters with over 1200 millions of population. It takes second position by its population and seventh position by geographical area in the world. The elevation in India varies from sea level to Himalayas, Mt. Kanchenjunga 8586 meters (the third highest mountain peak on this planet bordering Nepal and India). The climate in this land contrasts from subtropical to alpine.

The land of India is bounded by the Indian Ocean on the south, Arabian Sea on the west and the Bay of Bengal on the east. It is bordered by Pakistan on the west, Nepal, Tibet (China) and Bhutan on the north, and Bangladesh and Myanmar on the East.

The nature's extravaganzas in India consist in a complex chain of Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea, widespread deserts, fertile plain lands, dense forests offering suitable environment to reside for various species of plants and animals including the rare Tiger of Bengal, Himalayan rivers, deep valleys and ravines, gorges, natural amphitheatres and terraces, mountain ridges, high passes and Himalayan peaks, sources of valuable minerals, shrines and sacred places and so on.

Besides having natural richness, India is considered as the mother of human civilization. When the Indus River made a huge valley of fertile lands, human civilization started to grow up from here (the term, India, also comes from the name of Indus River). People here in India are from various ethnic groups with diversified cultures and religions. India is proud of letting all religions; Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Muslims, and so on be equally respected.

India also is highly rich on architecture, craftsmanship and arts; cinema world, classical music, folklore, stories, magic, myths and legends. Indeed, India includes whole world and it is impossible to describe this land in words. To put in a nut shell, India is a wide network of Natural extravaganza and human civilization, and, thus it always amuses travellers.
